Draw a loosely “M” shaped curved line from the top line of the body. Draw another curved line to match the previous, allowing the two lines to meet in a point.

Draw a curved line down from the head, meeting the lower line of the body at the bottom of the neck.

Draw another curved line from the head to the right side of the neck. To detail the belly, draw 17 curved lines across the center portion of the neck.

Interesting Facts About Cobra:

Cobras are Elapids, a type of poisonous snake with hollow fangs fixed to the top jaw at the front of the mouth. These snakes cannot hold their fangs down on prey so they inject venom through their fangs, according to the San Diego Zoo.

They have an excellent sense of smell and night vision. Cobras are venomous snakes related to taipans, coral snakes, and mambas, all members of the Elapidae family.

Snakes in this family cannot fold their fangs down, as vipers can, so the fangs are generally shorter. They kill their prey by injecting venom through their fangs.
