Step 1: Drawing head of scooby doo

Begin by drawing Scooby’s snout. Draw a curved, inverted triangle for the nose, and use curved lines to enclose the two portions of the upper lip. Draw two ovals above the snout to form the eyes.

Draw a circle within a circle inside each, and shade between them to form the pupil. Draw Scooby’s head. Use curved lines to enclose the open mouth, the tongue, and the lower jaw.

Note the three lines at the corner of the jaw that indicate folds of skin. Use curved lines to outline the forehead, ears, and neck. Draw curved shapes to form the eyebrows, and enclose a triangular shape to detail the inner ear.

Complete Scooby’s neck with a curved line. Then, use three curved lines to enclose his collar.

Draw a diamond within a diamond just below the collar, forming the name tag. Outline the letters “SD” on the surface of the tag. Connect the tag to the collar using pairs of curved lines.

Extend an “S” shaped line from the hip, and double it back upon itself to form the tail. Draw Scooby’s foreleg using long, curved lines. Notice the sharp points at the shoulder and ankle.

Enclose the foot using “C” shaped lines to form the toes. Also, enclose toes along the back foot. Extend a long, curved line from the collar to the foreleg to outline Scooby’s chest and stomach. Use long, curved lines to sketch Scooby’s foreleg.
