Step: 1 Drawing lines for stairs
For the first step in our guide on how to draw stairs. we while starting the outlines of the steps (stairs).
Start by drawing rectangles as shown in the image below, and draw a diagonal and horizontal line in between those rectangles.
The lines are perpendicular to each of the lines containing horizontal and vertical lines and the horizontal lines having two lines with same length.
Step: 2 Drawing steps of stairs case
Outline the drawing with marker or sketch pen, then fill the blank area with black color. On the left side of your stairs draw a few more sets of rectangles and draw stair.
Draw the lines at considering at point of intersection the lines at the top of the horizontal line.
Step: 3 Drawing the staircase
To the right side of rectangle draw same steps as in step 1 and 2, only keep in mind to leave more upward space as moving to right.
Repeat the process for this step also to and from few stair step.
Step: 4 Drawing background of stair
Removing the red line shows the difference between the top and bottom, instead of red we draw a dark black coloured at bottom of the steps.
Color the below blank side with black color and shade the thinner rectangles with pencil or sketch using hatching technique.
Only by drawing a few straight lines can your optical illusion 3d stairs be ready.
